Program Director - Healthy Communities

Elaine joined Ecojustice in 1999 and is a PhD level environmental engineer who also applies her expertise to work related to the Great Lakes, air and water quality, and oilsands operations. Elaine leads the Environmental Health team, where she’s challenging all levels of government to protect every Canadian — especially our most vulnerable, children — from illnesses related to harmful chemicals. Elaine can often be found hanging out with her family, sailing on the Great Lakes and cycling around Toronto.
