Climate change is already impacting young Canadians. Are you feeling the effects?
Ecojustice is exploring new ways to use the power of the law to combat climate change — and we need your help.
Today’s young people will bear the brunt of climate change, despite having the least responsibility for causing it or the ability to stop it. Already, youth across the country are dealing with the impacts of a rapidly-changing climate: wildfires, heatwaves, rising sea levels, asthma induced by poor air quality, climate anxiety, and the loss of traditional foods and cultural practices.
Are you a young person who’s experienced these changes or been impacted by climate change in other ways? If you are — or if you know somebody who is — please share your story below.
As Canada’s largest environmental law charity, Ecojustice specializes in going to court to protect the air, water, and land. We know climate change is a challenge unlike any other, and that it will require unprecedented solutions. That’s why we are asking you to help us understand how climate change impacts your life.
The stories you share will help inform the next wave of Ecojustice’s climate cases, and could help us identify Canadians who want to work with us to take their fight for a safe climate to court.
Thank you for helping Ecojustice build the case for a better earth.
