Invermere, B.C. — The proposed Jumbo Glacier ski resort has been buried, thanks to heavy public opposition and a failure to meet environmental requirements.
“We are extremely pleased with the province’s decision,” said Robyn Duncan of Wildsight. “This is the only reasonable outcome for this beleaguered project.”
Ecojustice lawyers are advising Wildsight and Jumbo Creek Conservation Society on this issue.
