Reid is thrilled to be joining Ecojustice as a summer law student. As a participant in Ecojustice’s Environmental Law Clinic at the University of Ottawa in the fall of 2019, Reid enjoyed dipping his toe in the amazing array of Environmental Law cases Ecojustice takes on. Now, he is ready for a full plunge!
Prior to moving to Ottawa for Law School, Reid was born and raised in Salmon Arm, British Columbia, before moving to Edmonton to obtain an undergraduate degree with Distinction in Political Science and French Language from the University of Alberta. He feels privileged to have lived in so many beautiful parts of the country, and hopes his work with Ecojustice can help to ensure that all of Canada’s diverse ecosystems are protected.
In his spare time, Reid can be found playing guitar and singing, finding a nice trail to stroll, and canoeing with his Grandpa in BC whenever he has a chance to get back home for a visit.
