Murray is a managing partner with the MaRS Cleantech Fund, a Canadian venture capital fund focused on early stage investments in the clean technology sector. Prior to this, Murray worked with New York-based RSL Investments to develop and execute a global investment strategy in the water sector. As an entrepreneur, Murray founded and built two successful venture capital backed startups: Spotnik Mobile, a wireless provider which was acquired by TELUS, and EnviroTower, a well-known cleantech company in the water treatment sector. Prior to this, Murray was a principal with the McKenna Group, a Silicon Valley-based management consulting group. Murray holds an MBA from the University of Western Ontario.
