Harry believes that it is up to all of us to take immediate steps to confront climate change otherwise Schweitzer’s prediction of doom will be a fait accompli. Although the challenges are enormous we can and need to recognize that the future of biodiversity and civilization rests upon us and we have no option but to meet those challenges.
Harry spent many years at the Department of Justice. Initially he specialized in environmental prosecutions and prosecuted two of the leading environmental cases all the way to the Supreme Court of Canada. He then was involved in a wide array of civil litigation in the environmental field including pursuing successfully a multimillion dollar environmental damage claim arising in a transboundary oil pollution case on behalf of Canada before the Federal Court in Oregon.
In his spare time he snowboards, stand up paddles and has backpacked with his son all over British Columbia.
