Prior to working at Ecojustice, Genevieve’s legal career has taken her to various departments of the Federal public service. She started in Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship law, supporting the work of counsel and tribunal members and officers. She has also worked in the areas of criminal drug prosecutions, courts administration and promoting tobacco control program policy for Health Canada. On arriving in Nova Scotia, she supported the work of counsel in tax law with the Department of Justice.

Genevieve is a recent transfer to Halifax and couldn’t be happier to be in Atlantic Canada. There is so much to do and see that is unlike anywhere else in Canada. She considers living in Halifax and working as a member of the Ecojustice team a dream come true. She is excited to work for advocates of this earth and all of its creatures.
