TOTE
Woodland caribou herds in northeastern Alberta are in drastic decline – with some herds reduced to fewer than 100 members. But Ecojustice is pressing Canada’s Environment Minister to provide emergency protection for these threatened herds before it’s too late.

The federal government has committed to proposing a national recovery strategy for Woodland Caribou by 2011, yet it will almost certainly take another three to five years to implement that strategy.

Alberta’s Woodland Caribou need your help now to ensure that they are still alive, and thriving, when national protections finally arrive.

Note 1:  Greeting card not as shown, rather it features a beautiful photo of a mother and baby Woodland Caribou.
Note 2:  Your holiday honoree will not be added to our mail list unless they choose to join us.
