Defending feathered friends
One million birds die in collisions with Toronto buildings each year, and no single site has been more deadly to birds during the past decade than Toronto’s Consilium Place.
Ecojustice launched a private prosecution against the building owners to encourage them, and others, to take affordable steps to end the needless deaths of our spectacular bird species. Our case goes to court in April 2011.
