Global Warming
The scientific evidence is irrefutable: human activities are heating the atmosphere and contributing to climate change. This climate crisis is already disrupting communities and threatening thousands of species of plants and animals worldwide.
The science, however, also points to measured steps that could help to stabilize the atmosphere and protect the planet for generations to come. Ecojustice believes there are solutions to this crisis and that bold, yet measured, steps will lead us towards a more secure, sustainable future.
A major part of our casework and advocacy, therefore, aims to promote sustainable sources of energy, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and hold governments accountable for turning down the heat.
