Clean Water
The protection of water resources is now at the top of the international political agenda – and with a quarter of the planet’s fresh water and more coastline than any other country, Canada’s leadership in this area could literally shape the future of the world.
To lead, though, Canadians will need to be better stewards of this vital resource, and armed with tougher laws to protect it.
In its first two decades, Ecojustice has established itself as a champion of clean water by winning cases in defence of our oceans, lakes, rivers and aquifers and expanding the body of law that protects them.
