Uranium exploration in Western Quebec

Ecojustice has provided information to a variety of community groups in Western Quebec, including residents from Chelsea, Wakefield, Fort Coulonge and Calumet Island, in relation to the uranium exploration claims and activities being undertaken in the area. 

In July, Ecojustice sent an open letter and substantive memorandum to the Quebec Minister of Natural Resources requesting changes to the provincial Mining Act and its regulations.
