A short description of how Ecojustice works
Ecojustice acts strategically. We take on cases with the potential to set legal precedents and strengthen laws in support of four goals: fighting global warming, the protection of clean water and natural spaces (parks, wilderness and wildlife), and the promotion of healthy communities.
Our influence also extends beyond the courts and corridors of power. Since 1990, Ecojustice outreach campaigns, workshops, investigations and reports have strengthened the work of conservationists in Canada and abroad.
As a leader in the courts, community and conservation movement, we aim to defend the right of Canadians to a healthy environment – now and for decades to come.
